QVET’s Purpose
QVET’s objectives are part of its constitution and governance charter. These objectives guide QVET’s agenda and actions.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive quality assurance benchmark and guidelines for private VET providers, encompassing curriculum design, delivery methods, assessment practices, and student support services.
- Implementing robust and transparent quality systems, reviewing processes to assess compliance with the Standards and identify areas for improvement.
- Providing resources, training, and support to assist private VET providers in meeting and exceeding quality assurance requirements.
- Serving as a unified voice for private VET providers in discussions with government bodies, industry stakeholders, and regulatory agencies.
- Facilitating networking opportunities, forums, and conferences to promote collaboration, knowledge exchange, and best practices among members.
- Conducting research and analysis to identify emerging trends, challenges, and opportunities within the vocational training sector, and advocating for policies and initiatives that support innovation and growth.
QVET has initiated the process to form advisory and working committees to fulfil its agenda and launch members services aimed at developing high-level capabilities and best practices.
