The QVET Difference
Private vocational education and training (VET) roviders in Australia play a vital role in providing skills and qualifications to support the country’s workforce and economy. Despite playing such a vital role they do not have a trusted voice at the highest policy making levels. This results in decisions being made that have major impacts on the viability of many private VET providers.
However, there are legitimate concerns about the quality and consistency of education and training provided by some private VET providers in recent years. To address these concerns and promote excellence in private vocational education, the proposed QVET Quality Verified Membership model has been developed.

Membership Audits
QVET membership is subject to provider site audit. While it provides a quality assurance mechanism for QVET, it also provides the members with an opportunity to review their operations annually, and better prepare for any external compliance/performance audits. QVET audits are part of membership fees and help save member’s internal costs.
The audit report can be used as evidence of quality/self assurance for regulatory audits.
Quality Certification
QVET has launched a unique and robust quality certification process for VET providers, including CRICOS and ELICOS providers, that serves as a distinction in the market. The quality certification is based on a specially designed Quality Framework that incorporates most applicable regulatory standards, and provides benchmarks and best-practices for operational excellence. As such, the framework goes above and beyond just meeting the compliance/audit requirements.
Quality certification is a serious commitment and provides a mark of distinction and outstanding practice.
